| Working as Senior Consultant Cardio thoracic Surgeon in Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences since January 2004. Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences is a Multi Specialty hospital with 325 beds with full fledged Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery units. About 800-1000 surgeries are being done every year. Coronary Artery bypass Surgeries including Beating Heart Surgeries, Redo Surgeries and Valve Replacements and repair Surgeries. Surgeries for Congenital Heart Diseases like ASD, VSD, TOF, PDA, etc., and also Thoracic and Vascular Procedures are routinely performed here. |

| Mahavir Cardiovascular Centre was established by Dr. B. Bhaskar Rao, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, in Mahavir Hospital and Research Centre in 1994. It is a full fledged Cardiac Care Unit with facilities for Medical & Surgical management of all Cardiac patients. About 400-500 surgical procedures were done each year. These included Coronary Artery Bypass surgeries, Valve Replacement Surgeries, Surgeries for Congenital Heart Diseases like ASD, VSD, TOF, PDA etc., and also Thoracic and Vascular procedures.
